A wintery bike ride to Thames source

This seemed like a good idea in a nice warm dry house one evening, in reality to cycle to the Thames source and then to the first major village, Cricklade, was very cold wet and muddy. Saying that it was a great adventure and the sun was out for the whole 12 mile stretch. The nearest station to the source is Kemble. It's then a couple of miles to source. After reaching Cricklade and a quick bite to eat there's a road cycle back to Swindon and a train back to West London.
